- Visit Banganga (starting point of the yatra) to get familiar.
- Shop for pooja items, dry fruits, or souvenirs in the local market.
- Dinner and Overnight Stay: At your hotel in Katra.
Day 02 :
Vaishno Devi Darshan
- Early Morning Start: Begin the trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine (13 km from Banganga) by 5:00-6:00 AM.
- Options for the journey:
- Trek: On foot through well-paved paths.
- Pony/Palki: For convenience.
- Helicopter Service: From Katra to Sanjichhat (subject to availability).

- Charan Paduka: Footprints of the Goddess.
- Adhkuwari: 6 km from Katra, where Mata meditated for 9 months.

- If time permits, visit Bhairon Nath Temple (2.5 km uphill from the main shrine).
- Return Journey: Trek/return to Katra by evening.
